Contract value, payment schedule, and foreign currency
The expected figure and the contracted one

Amounts change at closing. That is ordinary. What was not ordinary was the expected figure staying in the revenue forecast after the deal was won, and the whole contract value landing on the single day it closed, when the money actually arrives over several months.
The contracted amount and the dates it arrives are now recorded separately.
What is new
The contract value
Moving an opportunity to won asks for the amount once more. It is a different field from the expected amount.
You must choose whether VAT is included or added, and there is no default. Filling in the amount and leaving the VAT basis empty will not save. If you do not know the amount yet, leave it blank.
The actual close date
The win dialog has a date field. A date entered by a person takes precedence over the automatic record. The same rule applies when a lead goes straight to won.
The payment schedule
In product settings, decide whether payment arrives in one go or splits into deposit, interim, and balance. Winning the deal produces drafts along that schedule. Drafts nobody has looked at yet show as "N payment schedules unreviewed".
A forecast that splits
The whole contract value used to land on one point, the close date. Now it splits along the payment schedule, and each piece carries a received checkbox. When the ledger records a matching amount, the receipt is confirmed on its own.
Opportunities in foreign currency
Pick a currency for the opportunity amount. Choose a foreign currency and a reference rate is filled in; change it there if you want a different one. The card shows both the foreign amount and the won equivalent, while totals and KPIs count in the base currency only. With no rate, the card reads "cannot convert" and drops out of the totals.
VAT is chosen from included, added, or zero-rated. If the company's country looks like an export, zero-rated is made prominent but not fixed. Permitted currencies and reference rates are set in the Currency and payments tab of product settings.
Companies with no tax invoice ledger
Where a company does not issue tax invoices, a win counts as confirmed revenue. The screen says "by win, on close date", so you can always tell what is being counted.
