Attaching a recording to a company or an opportunity
Where a recording should live

This follows AI meeting notes. It deals with the three problems left once the transcript and the summary exist: where to put the recording, how to fix the speakers when they are mixed up, and what to say when a stretch could not be made out.
What is new
Attach, move, detach
Quick recording gained an attach to field. Attach to a company, a lead, an opportunity, or a project meeting, and a recording row appears in that record's document store, showing status, length, who uploaded it, who attached it, and a one-line summary.
An attached recording can be moved elsewhere or detached. Detaching returns it to being visible only to the uploader and the team lead. If the thing it was attached to is deleted, the recording returns to where it started.
Who can see it once attached
Among the people who can see that record, those with the meeting recording permission can read the transcript and the summary. That is spelled out on screen before you attach.
Kept as an activity
Where there is a summary, it is written into the company activity record as plain text. The same summary is written only once.
Fixing who said what
Click the name on a transcript line and pick from the attendee list. Beyond one line at a time there is "swap these two people from here to the end" and "set a range from here".
The attendee tab shows the first sentence of each stretch with a play button. Listen, then decide who it was.
You can also redo the speaker separation while leaving the text alone. That clears the names you entered and the speakers you corrected, and deducts transcription time.
Line-by-line correction is web only. What the app does is in Meeting recording.
Speakers across a long recording
Long recordings are processed in pieces. Speakers are now matched across the pieces, so the same person changing name halfway through happens far less.
Term correction
Only pairs that actually occur in this recording are suggested, along with how many places they occur in. Saving them to the glossary is off by default. The glossary window is where you search, see usage counts, edit, delete, and upload from a file.
When it could not be made out
A transcript of something that was not speech is not delivered as "done". It ends as a failure with the reason, no summary is produced, and it is excluded from your usage.
When only part of it is uncertain, those lines are shown faded rather than the whole thing being thrown away. Files recorded somewhere noisy are cleaned up before they are sent.
Transcribe again
Quick recording now has a button to transcribe from scratch.
