Photograph a card, get a contact
The cards pile up in a drawer

Copying the cards you collected at a meeting into the CRM is always the job that waits. Now you hold the card up to the app. It finds the edges, takes the photo, reads the text, and saves it as a contact on the company.
What is new
Taking the photo for you
Tap the scan icon at the top of a CRM screen and hold the card up. The app finds the edges, takes the photo, and straightens the angle.
- A dark card is captured in its own colours, with no filter, so it still reads clearly.
- In low light the torch comes on by itself and the flash fires.
- A blue grid sweeps while it looks, and the sufly logo is drawn while it reads.
The built-in scanner needs app 1.6.0 or later. Below that, taking a photo or picking one from the album gives the same result.
Reading and confirming
Name, company, title, phone, email, and address are read and filled into a confirmation screen. From there you can:
- rotate in 90 degree steps
- brighten a dark photo
- join a name that was read with spaces in it
- have an upside-down photo turned the right way up
Saving to a company
Candidate companies are suggested from the card's company name and business registration number. A company name you picked once is suggested again next time. If the same person already exists, you are told there and then.
Saving to your phone and sharing a card
Saving to the CRM can also add the contact to your phone. A card is shared three ways: as text, as a contact file, or as the photo.
Keeping the photo
The photo stays attached to the contact and can be seen again on the web and in the app. We will confirm the retention period once the policy is settled.
Your own card
Photograph or load your own card from the profile menu. Hand it over as a QR code at full screen brightness, or send it as a public link.
Which version
App 1.6.0, on both the App Store and Google Play. On the web, the card photo attached to a contact is visible. Photographing a card is not available on the web.
