Record a meeting in the app and get a transcript
After the meeting, all you have is a file

Record a meeting or a call in the app and the server transcribes it, separates the speakers, and writes a summary and the action items. Attach the result to a company, a lead, an opportunity, or a project meeting, and everyone who can see that record sees it too.
AI meeting notes, which arrived on the web in early September, is now in the app. Everything you did on the web, plus recording on the spot.
What is new
Record now, or upload a file
On any screen in CRM or Partner Portal, the microphone button at the bottom right starts a recording. Locking the screen does not stop it, on iPhone or Galaxy. An existing recording only needs uploading. One file holds up to 90 minutes and 90MB.
Straight from Voice Memos on iPhone
In Voice Memos, tap share and choose sufly, and it uploads to quick recording. On Galaxy, choose sufly from the recorder app's share sheet. (App 1.5.0 or later.)
Transcript, speakers, summary, tasks
When the conversion finishes you get a transcript with timestamps and speakers, a summary, and a list of action items. Enter the attendees' names and "Speaker A" is replaced with the name. The summary can be regenerated.
Playback
Drag the bar to move anywhere in the recording, and listen at double speed. Going to the home screen or locking the phone does not stop it, and play and pause work from the lock screen.
Attaching it to the CRM
Attach a quick recording to a company, a lead, or an opportunity. Once attached, anyone who can see that record and holds the meeting recording permission can read the transcript and the summary, and the summary can be kept in that record's history as a meeting activity. Afterwards it can be moved elsewhere or detached, and detaching returns it to being visible only to the uploader and the team lead.
In Partner Portal you attach to a project meeting, and register the action items from the summary as project tasks.
Converting again
If the conversion failed, or the result looks wrong, there are three choices.
| Button | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Retry | The conversion failed partway. Only the failed part runs again |
| Transcribe from scratch | The transcript itself is wrong. It is written again from the beginning |
| Separate speakers again | The transcript is right but the speakers are mixed up |
All three deduct transcription time for however much runs again. Transcribing from scratch and separating speakers again both overwrite the current result, so each asks for confirmation once.
A recording with no speech ends as a failure
Noise, music, sound from far away: where there is no speech, no sentences are invented. It ends with "no speech could be made out".
Such a file can be taken out with export audio to email, a messenger, or the files app. Clean it up outside and upload it again.
Where only part of it was inaudible, the whole thing does not fail. Those lines appear faded, followed by "(unclear)".
Notifications and limits
You get a push when the conversion and the summary are finished.
Each company has a monthly transcription allowance, and the remaining time is shown on screen. A company that does not subscribe to AI meeting notes sees an explanation instead of the record button. Allowances and prices are on the pricing page.
Which version
App 1.6.0, on both the App Store and Google Play. Anything above without an "app 1.5.0 or later" note arrives automatically on the next launch for apps at 1.4.0 or later. All of it is already live on the web (pp.sufly.net).
